Prices
All prices are current prices and only valid on the day of ordering. Prices are subject to change – often on a daily basis. The buyer will be invoiced at the price valid on the day of ordering, provided that Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelt Museum accepts the order. All prices are shown inclusive of VAT.

Ordering
The presentation of goods together with a price on chpeamuseum.dk does not constitute a binding offer, but merely an invitation to make an offer. The buyer’s order of goods from chpeamuseum.dk does not constitute a binding acceptance, but rather a binding offer to chpeamuseum.dk to purchase the goods on the stated terms.

A binding agreement between the buyer and chpeamuseum.dk is only concluded when chpeamuseum.dk, through an order confirmation, accepts the offer made by the buyer.

The expected processing time is approximately one week from order to dispatch. Items are usually shipped every Wednesday.

However, for small shipments, the museum may deem it appropriate to use PostNord instead. When PostNord is used as the carrier, delivery time may be extended by a few days.

Payment
The account details you enter when purchasing goods are sent directly to PBS in encrypted form (SSL), which only you and PBS can read. No one else can see or store your information. When paying by Dankort or credit card, the amount is charged to your account once the item is dispatched from chpeamuseum.dk. A fee of 5% DKK per transaction is applied for payments made by Dankort or credit card.

Risk of accidental loss or deterioration
The risk of accidental loss of or damage to the ordered goods passes to the buyer only at the time when the goods have come into the buyer’s possession.

Complaints
You have a 2-year right to complain when purchasing goods. You must state and, upon request, demonstrate the nature of the defect.

chpeamuseum.dk has made it easy for you to access relevant information on other websites via links. These websites are outside the control of chpeamuseum.dk, and we therefore cannot be held responsible for their content.

Information about ordered goods from such websites is not part of the description of the goods in the agreement between the buyer and chpeamuseum.dk. The goods are therefore considered to meet the buyer’s expectations if they correspond to Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelt Museum’s own description.

The seller is not liable for any direct or indirect loss caused by late delivery of the ordered goods or defects in the goods when the delay or defects are due to the buyer’s actions or omissions, or circumstances beyond the control of chpeamuseum.dk, such as war, rebellion, civil unrest, fire, government intervention, seizure, currency restrictions, labour disputes of any kind, including strikes and lockouts, or similar events.

chpeamuseum.dk does not provide any independent warranty for the ordered goods, and the buyer only receives the warranties issued by the manufacturer.

Right of Withdrawal
If the buyer notifies chpeamuseum.dk that they wish to cancel their purchase within 14 days of delivery, chpeamuseum.dk will refund the amount received.

You have 14 days to notify us that you wish to withdraw from your purchase, and a further 14 days to return the goods.

You may withdraw from a purchase even if the item has been used. An item is only considered used if it has been used beyond what is possible when testing it in a physical shop.

If an item has been used, a case-by-case assessment will be made of the item’s resale value to another consumer. Any reduction in value will not be refunded to the consumer.

Returned goods sent unpaid or cash on delivery will be refused. When returning goods, please use PostNord – not alternative carriers – as this allows the parcel to be tracked in case it is lost in transit. The item should be securely packaged and sent together with a copy of the invoice. Please clearly state that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal and request a refund of the purchase price. We recommend sending the parcel as a tracked shipment via PostNord.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal by refusing to accept the delivery.

These return rules apply to all goods sold via distance selling (to private customers). They do not apply to goods collected in our shop or to sales to businesses.
